    Neil, I can see where @Fred Kerr is coming from with his Glenfinnan suggestion - there is a water tank to the right of the picture with the track curving to the right through the station and even a similar tree at the far end of the left hand platform, just like Glenfinnan, but......Glenfinnan would have a siding and a signal box to the left of the picture and there was never a station footbridge there. This is what it looked like in 1984 before becoming overgrown with vegetation

    Trust me your picture is definately Achnashellach as it was in steam days when it still had a crossing loop.
