And I tried again today, and went to the correct page. Don't ask me why.

True, coaches appear to always come second best when it comes to restoration and the lack of covered accommodation does not help

It would be good if at least one of those carriages could find a home somewhere like the Yorkshire Wolds Railway or the Mid Suffolf, They are going to need some passenger carrying stock one day, and something with history and character would be far better than yet another Mk 1.

Wherever they go, they need to be kept undercover, and with a plan, otherwise it's just kicking the can.

If kicking the can is the best that can be achieved for now, kick the can, they ain’t making any more of theses.

It is a pity they don't go to Margate (the old Hornby Works) in Kent for covered storage for now

    The can is corroding.

But what is the point of turning the can into razor blades now?

I was under the impression it was all part of the NRM, but it looks like I was wrong

It isn’t, but in any case - even if it were, why should they pick up the overhead of storing the vehicles? They aren’t the “keeper of last resort” for heritage assets that no-one else has the wherewithal to preserve.
