    Hoping to visit this weekend for the Steam Country Fayre, just wondered if anyone knew which locomotive is due to be in steam?

    They've got Hawthorn Leslie Isabel on hire at the moment so presumably that one, although it does look like Hudswell Clarke Millom is serviceable too.

    Thanks both, a comment on Facebook appeared yesterday which said its likely to be Isabel and Millom.

    I see some really quite extensive rebuilding work is going on to the road bridge over the former line just off of the northwest end of Quainton platform. Is it related to HS2 and/or potential future development of the line to Aylesbury or are they just making sure the road is safe ?
