    I started so I will finish. I must also thank Big Al and the MNLPS people for their work in arranging priority access to the engine crews at Victoria and for looking after me during the day. Clan Line had 13 on including 10 Pullmans but no DL. So 494 tons tare and 515 tons full according to Jim Clarke. Some good uphill work, possibly the best being Bromley South to Blackbrook Bridge summit where speed was held at 37.3-37.6 mph. Jim said he was using 40% cut off but not full regulator.
