    After a week on display the Inspiration Train has just shunted out of the NRM at dusk on Monday 1st September. The GBRf train crew discuss the next move out onto the mainline.

    Bliss was it in that afternoon to be alive but to be young and wearing a school raincoat at the north end of Crewe Station was very heaven. (1958 or 1959 I think)

    I journeyed there towards the end of steam as a schoolboy and was amazed at the Locos I saw, but yes it was so big. Well worth 3 trains from Yorkshire.
