On this occasion I have seen it but yes that is the correct procedure.

I’m not 100% sure we can change it as it dates from the settings from when Glyn (the former owner) set the forum up with this software and I’m sure when it was same ages ago it turned out not to be possible to change it but I may have remembered wrong as it was a long time ago.

I will have a look through the forum settings and let you know if it can be changed.

I’ve removed a set of posts stemming from the one accidentally posted in the wrong place to keep the thread a bit tidier :)

In the absence of an actual delete facility, if you realise you've posted nonsense or in the wrong place, you can edit the post to say "deleted".

    I think probably both.

I'm away from my email address for another 10 days, can you say any more?

They always have several transactions pending, one for a year now, the other had a hitch at the last minute, maybe one of those?

It may be very interesting but there's no point posting something like that here without at least a glimmer of what it might be. :)

EA shareholders should be the first to know, and they are. Come along to the meeting if you'd like to know more... ;)

I agree they should, therefore it's a bit silly mentioning it on NP before it's made public. News is something always best reported in arrears, I've found, not in advance.

Precisely, but some people who may be in the know are unable to control their keyboards! "premature dissemination", I think they call it ;) Besides, to anybody outside of EA, it's probably less interesting than some here seem to think.

Looks like I am going to have to reschedule my weekend and go to WB on the Saturday and Chelfham on the Sunday. But like they said on Stingray, anything can happen in the next half hour.

If you really want to know what is going on, contact https://www.exmoor-associates.co.uk/contact/

and donate a bit of cash to the cause. Since it involves a very important vote by the shareholders, I need to leave it there.

    Stop with the cryptic crap!

If you can’t relay the full story then don’t say anything. Little hints of “I know something but I’m not telling” is childish and irritating.

Yeah but this is a internet forum. There's two options:
    1. Little hints of “I know something but I’m not telling”
    2. Large hints of "I know nothing but I'll tell everything"
