LE movements, ECS and test runs 2025

I'm ancient, Neolithic, but must have led a sheltered life... what's a "jubbly"....only jubbly's I know was a 4-6-0 or phrase from Del Boy....

 

They still exist! From this summer's stash in the freezer.

Jubblies were incredibly unwieldy and unimaginative ice lollies. These “frozen drinks” (as they were officially known) were simply huge triangular lumps of flavoured ice.

34028 going nicely through Tilehurst on its loaded test run(10+class 47) on the main 6 mins late - short vid to follow

 

Diesel hauled consist, with 34028 (currently on the rear), was held at signals - as scheduled - on the western arm of Didcot's triangle awaiting an Oxford - Paddington service.
Now that it has cleared, the movement resumed so that 34028 was at the head again ready for the return journey to WCRC Southall.
A slow re-start it seems with the train around 5 late approaching Cholsey according to RTT.

For those going to seeing 5Z47 1000 Crewe H.S. to Carlisle Upperby Tmd Lsl in the Shap area, please be advised that the M6 is closed northbound from J36 (Barrow/Kirkby Londsale) to J38 (Shap) and is not expected to be reopened until after the train has passed by. Lengthy queues on the approach. A683 also closed due to roadworks in a couple of places either side of Sedbergh
