Having a quick look at the Teifi Valley Railway facebook page, they had enough volunteers tp run in Easter, and will restart July.
In last July they raised some cash to replace some sleepers and start to fill the gap to the old existing line. They are also restoring the Alan George loco but no updates, so expect they will store and restore the shed at some point after the line is fully restored?.

Does anyone have a better picture of the building concerned, please?

Several planning applications for this area of Lampeter, this now an area of developers filling in the gaps between houses and gardens. Part occupied by the Business Park but mostly hidden by dense vegetation and infested by corrugated iron sheds. Impossible to determine which one is meant and the planning application does not show it. A search of Google maps is not helpful either.

There's a few on Archwilio. Enter the Search term: 128839
2 results appear, the one you want is in Lampeter and the site owner has kindly provided a few photos.
It's a crinkly tin shed previously moved from Lampeter railway station. "It was designed and built for Lampeter Railway Station for the purpose of storing and transfering cattle cake from the train to the lorry. The shed would have been on some sort of platform making it level with the train carriage on the one side and the lorry on the other side. The fabric of the shed is all original - the woodwork, flooring and the zinc sheeting covering it all."

The Google maps location is https://maps.app.goo.gl/MJm2HAEH4kDKTwd3A but it's away from the road so you can't see it at all in Streetview and very little detail from the aerial view.

    Thanks Miff

Just seen the photos, and I have to ask, is it worth saving? If you had a plan to recreate a GWR Country Station, then yes, it would be, but what could the Teffi do with such a building? I personally would think it could make a great extension to the workshop

If planning permission depended on the fate of the shed, maybe the Society was paid by the developers. Or maybe the Society paid the owner for it. No financial information whatever has been provided by the Society to the Charity Commission for nearly 3 years.

Great news. Strange that Elizabeth Perry didn't mention it

You can call me cynical, but the only change is the opening times which begs the question why it was offline for such a long period in the first place?

Interesting to see a significant reduction in operating days this year, seems only to be operating during the major school holidays.

I doubt I would either if I wasn’t permitted to volunteer there. Doesn’t seem strange to me.

Equally, I’m glad to see it back and wish the railway well.
