Another good event this looks set to be. First chance to ride behind 4930/13268 this year as well. They are being tripped round by road to KR for this, and further commitments later in the year…..

• LNER 60163 Tornado, paired with LNER Teak carriages.
• GWR 4930 Hagley Hall, paired with GWR carriages.
• GWR 1450, operating in push-pull mode with an Autocoach.
• LMS Stanier Mogul 13268, paired with LMS carriages and a pre-grouping goods train.
• BR Class 52 D1062 Western Courier, paired with BR carriages.
• BR Class 50 50035 Ark Royal, paired with BR carriages.
• BR Class 108 DMU

 

Would have thought a good event to get the HST out for? Either way, looks excellent - count me in!

That would explain why it wasn't about for the diesel gala.

 

Is it too early to ask for which way the steam locos are planned to be facing? I suppose it depends on when 60163 arrives and how the Hall and Mogul are loaded?

 

Chaloner has been announced as one of two narrow gauge locos that will giving footplate rides at The Engine House.

 

Holy War has been announced as the second narrow gauge loco.

Fantastic stuff, definitely calls for a visit on Sunday after travelling with 45596 to Swansea the day before.

 

Should increase the attendance considerably !

 

Will 46115 be stopping at the Severn Valley for longer than this particular weekend or just specifically for this weekend ?? TIA for any information……..

 

Arrives on the Friday, leaves on the Monday, runs at the weekend.

Event page has been updated, now 46115 on the maroon Mk1s + LMS 7511 - makes sense!

 

Took a lot more pushing than it should have done to get 7511 in but we got there!

 

Why would we do anything that actually makes sense Harry?

 

46115 should face Bridgnorth (North) for the first half of Saturday, turning at 1500. Then Kidderminster (South) for the rest of the weekend. Set is M(7)+LMS 1st Class Diner 7511.
