Last week saw Southern GUV 4588 removed from Padgate station in Warrington after failing to get planning permission to be added to the fish and chip shop there. Its reported to have gone to a new home in Kent, anyone know where please?

I find this interesting, the MK1 BSK seems to stand out like a sore thumb amongst an otherwise classic Light Railway rolling stock collection

Richard, I'm very glad you mentioned this- I thought Terry Bye had stopped producing the newsletter 2 years back- I'm delighted he changed his mind, and I've now got some back reading to do

What is the status regarding the restoration of 51074 and 51104? I know that one had engine problems a few years ago.

Also no involvement, but there was also a Facebook post stating that all 6 engines had been started.

Reported on FB that Quorn Wagon & Wagon have taken delivery of Lowfit B452718 from the Mid-Hants.
This arrived loaded with the replica 'D' type open container which the Mid-Hants built some years ago. (Not an entirely accurate replica; more of an artist's impression in my opinion...) But the container was rotting and has succumbed to the effects of a broom. So whether we'll see that again is anybody's guess (they haven't said).
Still, good news on the Lowfit, something QW&W have been after for a good many years.
