Lakeside and Haverthwaite Rly Mixed Traffic Weekend

Like a more frequent timetable and one day 20214 only,another day 27024(or 26001 if swapped back) only,and a realistic ticket price.

Noticed this year there are three weekends per the website,perhaps a 20 weekend,a 27 weekend,and a weekend for everything?

 

You took the words straight out of my mouth. EXACTLY what i'd propose. Run something that diesel enthusiasts actually want to see :-k

The 20 and 27/26 are all rare critters, so offering a mileage weekend each will drag out the 20/rat men, while an 'everything' weekend will grab those who like their red pens. I'd also ask for a more frequent timetable (lets be honest, how many trains need to connect with the lake boats in November?) but that might be pushing it?

 

Re the above, as a result of feedback from previous years, that is the plan.

As of now, three weekends are allocated at the end of the season for individual loco running days.

Things could change, but more news nearer the time.
