I've long since struggled to order or find a second hand copy of books published via TRP (Track Record Press) covering the Class 52 Western diesels. I know the author Adrian Curtis has passed away but I am unsure whether reprints are ever made since web site is forever OOS on all titles.

Would anyone know of any second hand book stalls at HRs that might have a good copy of 'Westerns Vol 3 Disposal Records' and/or 'Westerns The Final Salute' - publisher TRP and author Adrian Curtis?

    Many Thanks

I understand that for a period prior to his death, Adrian Curtis suffered from a debilitating illness that affected his ability to manage his business and led to at least one bankruptcy. As a result of this, the ownership of the rights to many of his titles (both as author and publisher) changed hands on more than one occasion. The likelihood of anyone reprinting any of his books obviously depends on whoever currently holds the rights (possibly his son?) feeling that it would be worthwhile. This assumes that the rights holder also has the time and money to undertake a reprint.

Some of the information above comes from discussions I had with colleagues in the book trade about ten years ago, and is therefore at least third hand, not to mention possibly clouded by the failings of memory. If anyone can add to or correct the above, then please do so.

Some of his books turn up from time to time on eBay. It's probably as good a source as any right now.

thank you @Jon Lever . Yes, a shame all round. There was a time some years back where I placed orders and nothing much happened for months. Clearly things had become a struggle to deliver as needed and I ended up with a refund.
