We had a walk through when there was a Col Stephens Soc visit to the EK a few years ago. The interior marquetry seemed in fair condition, at least what we saw.

Bodmin have put their AutoCoach up for sale again, following the departure of the Pannier earlier in the year. (I thought the pair had been purchased together, but evidently I was wrong!)

It was announced a few months ago that Jonathan Jones-Pratt had bought it. The most recent photos of it online show it on display next to the turntable at Minehead.

Not so from Rail Advent -
    Heritage Railway had -
Those were just two but all the major magazines had similar saying the Autocoach was part of the sale complete with quotes from JJP.

But isn't the present sale being advertised due o the failed sale, I assume that means the sale in association with the pannier fell down, despite all the media briefing that it was part of the sale.

No one is disputing that, my point being that whatever happened subsequently, the plan was indeed to purchase both at one stage.
