    The only thing about blowing sideways, they endanger anyone who might be standing nearby and the high pressure blast could also cause damage to platform sides. :-k

    Yes you are quite correct they do tend to clear the people away from the front end really quickly , we do warn people to stand away if possible , as regards platforms -- we don't have to many -- mainly plain track with steps put out to get people down from the passenger cars .
