"Colin McAndrew" lives quite happily at the Mountsorrel Heritage Centre and isn't going anywhere as far as I know....... Think you mean the "Caledonia Works" Barclay from the P&BR!

AFAIK Caledonia Works is based at the WSR (as is the owner), so the P&B would only have had it on loan.

Andrew Barclay 1219 Caledonian Works is the loco going on hire to Mid-Suffolk Railway from us, its too small for our trains and mainly gets use on galas and events with us.

Hunslet 1873 Jessie should be back with us before Easter following its fast track overhaul.

It was hoped Llantarnam Abbey's overhaul would be complete for the start of this season but its taken a little longer than hoped and will probably be back with us later in the year.

There is also another locomotive currently under overhaul that is planned to join us when complete.

    Alex.

Sorry guys - Caledonia Works is the one I meant and I’ve added a correction into the original post. Thanks to those who pointed it out!

No, long gone. Left about 3 or 4 years ago as part of the big clear out we had. Now at Burry Port & Gwendraeth Valley Railway.

The new livery on Hunslet No.1873 ‘Jessie’.
This is the exact colour scheme she would have worn when outshopped from Hunslet Works in Leeds 87 years ago.
