Whatever it was it's been done. Day 1 timings are now out:

Something has definitely changed, as the Day 1 destination was supposed to be Worcester. Now it's changed to Cheltenham. You can see traces of it in the description on the website, where it talks about going along the Cotswold Line through Charlbury.

Highlight of Day 1 must be the 43 minutes at Southall on a piece of very rare track by the look of it.

Part of Day 3 is up on RTT with us going up the S&C via a reversal (?) at Hellifield due to the Coast road being closed. However, looking at the WR movements in Carlisle makes me very confused as to what's going to happen there regarding our onward to Glasgow. Any thoughts out there? As regards Day 1 Cheltenham was known quite a while ago but the web site and Railway herald routes weren't changed.

Apparently RTC couldn’t source sufficient hotel rooms in Worcester, hence the change of destination to Cheltenham.

Probably diesel leading to Hellifield, Tangmere to Carlisle, Tangmere departing to Carnforth 1300, Black Fives arriving from Carnforth 1500.

There's also an ECS from Glasgow Central to Joppa Straight (Edinburgh) that evening.

Yes, comes direct from Carnforth via Settle Junction so reversal is required at Hellifield to access the S&C.

...and conveniently this is somewhere that a train can spend almost as much time as is necessary without disruption. It is also not a goods loop and so passengers can have a leg stretch at or away from the station if it suits them.

Is that the up side goods loop(s)? If so, I can't immediately see a move for the second 'five' to join the train there in the hours leading up to the occupation. Perhaps I have misinterpreted the RTT descriptions.
