    Saw this on FB a couple of weeks ago. It's not a carriage though, it's a conflat container.

    My guess (only a guess) is that someone hired it to ship their stuff to Belgium and then there was some major event (like a World War or something) that prevented its return, and it just got abandoned there.

    Ibdo know some rail stuff was dumped and left before Dunkirk. Some thrown in the harbour
