Just thought I'd rock the boat a bit. I don't even know if its running or not - I'm guessing it will be!

Subject to all the usual disclaimers, 5197 should be out for the War Weekend - well worth a visit and an excellent event too.

Any idea of what turn 5197 will be working ?

Also what else is rostered ?

Rostered on the Bury-Rawtenstall trains (2 sets 7 or8 coaches) are 5197, 47324+ L/Y 1300 double heading with D335 rostered as well (it is a 40's weekend!!). Don't know which way round but the 40 is scheduled 11.00 /14.00/17.00 ex Bury.
DMU 1305 on Bury-Heywood shuttles - 32 Gothenburg (minus nameplates!) on Bury-Ramsbottom military freight train.

You've just made sure I'm not going GWSR with that. Can't wait \:D/ Do you have Brake Van rides on the Freight or not, and any ideas of timings for these runs ? What are Prices too as I've not seen them yet, simply says Rovers will be available ?

Hven't got full freight timings , but generally they run in the 'shuttle slot' at xx.40 ex Bury to Ramsbottom, think there are 3 trips scheduled but regret no brake van rides.
Fares- it's an event, not a special event so ordinary fares apply, £11.80 full line return valid as rover.
