Changes at Penryhn Museum

Ah. Please forgive my confusion.

 

Haydock has moved to the Isle of Wight.

Open to correction but with Charles the Penrhyn Quarry Hunslet staying, I think that just leaves Kettering Furnaces No3 and a 2ft gauge Ruston diesel to account for? Given the latter's lack of Penrhyn connections I wonder if that will be moving on?

An excellent choice of destination for the Black Hawthorn with a real prospect of a return to steam.

 

While not an origional member of the fleet, Ruston diesels do play a part in Penrhyn's history.

 

After many years away from Penryhn the NT has now donated the Coal Tank to Bahamas Locomotive Society. That is good news all round as it secures its future as a working engine
