Mid February Half Term 2024

I know in the past the railways like the NYMR, KWVR and I believe ELR, have run services during the February Half term, albeit not since before COVID for the NYMR. Do people know which railways in England and Wales are planning (or at least considering) opening during the February 2024 Half term?

The Spa Valley Railway look to be opening for what I think is the February 2024 half term, but not on Friday 16th. That week follows what is now shown as a 3 day Winter steam up (9 -11 Februray), which currently includes 34072, 80078 and 828 - all subject to availability.

Nothing shown yet for my other local heritage steam railway - the Bluebell Railway, but I would guess that Jamessquared of this parish might have an idea on that.

 

I believe that the NYMR are planning to run some sort of service over the February half-term next year. The practice ceased because it was interfering with major track relays as the track had to be reinstated and any relay made fit for service, significantly cutting short the length of relay that could be achieved. However, there is no planned major track renewal next year.

Swanage shows half term as running days on their website. No timetable yet of course.

 

The GCR should be running.

 

Haven't seen a service plan for next year, but normally we are running during the February half term.

North Norfolk routinely runs in February half term.

From conversation the SVR will be running Feb half term but only Kidderminster to Highley to accomodate Bridgnorth yard works.
