    Morning All,

    The 12 inch gauge Ruislip Lido Railway held a gala over last weekend which featured not one, but two, steam locomotives. They had their own 2-4-0ST+T MAD BESS which has just had a major overhaul, plus a visiting 2-6-2T called CHRISTOPHER which is based at the Littlehampton Miniature Railway. MAD BESS is a scaled down version of the Ffestiniog Railway's ex Penrhyn Quarry Railway BLANCHE. Best of all, there was a parallel run using both these engines:

    The 2024 Steam Gala on the Ruislip Lido Railway is over the three days 4th -6th May and guess what - 'Sherpa' is coming up from Fairbourne!
