The video features the likes of 60103 Flying Scotsman, 6233 Duchess of Sutherland, 45596 Bahamas, and 45690 Leander hauling tours run by Railway Touring Company including the annual Great Britain XIV, The Cotswold Venturer, The Royal Duchy, and classic Christmas runs from and to Bristol. The Great Central Railway's Winter Steam Gala 2023, featuring visiting locos SR 506 (from the Mid Hants Railway) and BR 73082 (from the Bluebell Rly) - and home fleet locomotives 48305, 73156, 78018, 78019, and 92214 - filmed on the Friday and Saturday. Some of the sequences are in black and white - in keeping with the cloudy and dull conditions, and my memories of the GC in the early 60s!
