A few phone snaps from what was majoritarily a very wet day yesterday. Looks like much the same today - looking out the B&B window with dark skies all round.

By contrast, my local line will be running a Pacer in three weeks' time for its first runs of 2023.

A few from yesterday and today. As was said by @Wagoniester it was very wet a lot of the time. I would have liked to spend a day on the trains but still being without boosters for either flu or Covid and with my Dad have contracted Covid in hospital (still waiting to see if he has "gifted it" to us) stayed lineside and away from others. Proved if nothing else that I am even worse physically after Covid and pneumonia than I thought.
Felt sorry for the crew of the U who experienced some of the most heavy rain I have seen in this country with the freight yesterday morning around Corfe and Norden.

Yes, had an excellent couple of hours at the railway on Saturday. Showers of 'biblical proportions' at times but really enjoyed the visit, my first since before Covid! Event seemed to be reasonably well supported given the weather!

 

A friend mentioned yesterday the event made the BBC, managed to find it. Impressive to use a freight picture before the two Super Turbots were removed.
