Here is the CHR official YouTube channel. A subscribe and a like on the videos would be much appreciated to raise our profile and assist with spreading the word about what the railway offers.
Most of the above videos are now available outside of Facebook, we do listen to feedback!

The Weston extension has made the shortlist for the Steam Railway Magazine award. There are many worthy candidates but should you wish to vote for our project this can be done via the Steam Railway website.

Done. Richly deserved shortlisting, and having been there on opening weekend, I'm delighted to support a scheme I've actually seen!

That looks like significant progress, well done to all concerned. Will it allow running round a train in the platform, or does that need further work at the other end?

There is still some work to do at the north end to commission the run round loop. The run round for the up platform uses the centre road. There is a lot of money to raise before the down platform can be rebuilt for passenger use.

Signed up and stepped up. Me and the wife spend Thursday helping clear lineside vegetation. :)

Ruabon. We would have preferred Oswestry or Chirk, but a house with largish garden backing onto a river was too good to reject. :)

I hope that the river is well below your house but I'm sure you'll have gone into all this beforehand.

About 20 foot below and some way from the house. It's not what you would call a level garden! :)

Having moved rails by hand across that space I can assure you that the 6 foot is indeed there. My back told me so!
