    Can anyone give any more information about the above. Is it a renamed "Tracks to Trenches" style event renamed in the current climate?

    No I do not currently volunteer
    The event was originally the Military Trains weekend but was re-scoped in view of the HRA guidance on military events. It will still feature the WW1 railway collection, but with the scope expanded to cover all services, such as police, fire and ambulance.

    Two steam locos will be running - Hudswell 1238 and Hunslet 1215 - on the mainline, alternating between passenger and demo WW1 freights. Various military locos will be in operation on the field railway.
