Thanks. Good that you were on it. I could not face the 20 hour day. Overall time about 74.30? Load 11? I can probably use the log when you have the time to download it.

Footage of 45699 roaring up Grayrigg at a blustery Meal Bank this morning, along with 86259 at Forton and 87002 on the Clansman also at Meal Bank.

Just guessing that 35018 is in maintenance. Glad 45699 is out.

Looked like they came to a stand before Garsdale as we drove past it as it was heading over Dandrymire Viaduct.

Brilliant Stephen. Great to see 45699 working hard unassisted. Great job by the driver to control the slipping at Shap. Looking forward immensely to the Duchess over the S&C in 2 weeks time.

It did indeed, no idea why. We were 55 down leaving Hellifield, but absolutely stormed Wilpshire, and only 36 down by the time we said goodbye to Galberta Leone at Preston. A quick turn around means we are now storming South with E3137 and under 20 down.

Working the 'Cumbrian Mountain Express' 1Z86 towards Shap summit No. 45627 'Sierra Leone' makes a fine sight and sound for the assembled photters with David Blair driving, Martyn Soames firing and Roly Parker Guard

With a moody backdrop of Wild Boar Fell Jubilee class No 45627 'Sierra Leone' works the return 'Cumbrian Moutain Express' 1Z87 away from Aisgill Summit with David Blair driving, Martyn Soames firing and Roly Parker Guard

Mainline-26.2.22-Galatea-Whalley-KH1.jpg The late running over the S&C sees No. 45699 'Galatea' charging south over Whalley Viaduct about 15 minutes after sunset with a beautiful afterglow in the clouds.
