Someone asked me for a copy of the videos of The Great Britain 3 that I took in 2010. Having reviewed them for the first time in ages I thought they deserved a wider audience, so I've split the original 2 Blu-ray discs into 11 shorter programmes - 1 for each day and a short introductory montage for each disc (my own homage to PSOV). I've put them into a playlist which should play in sequence:

The individual days can be selected from The Steam Age Pictures main videos page:

If you do, thanks for watching...

On 10 Jul 21, I attended my first photoshoot in over 2 years due to the pandemic and travelled to Didcot Railway Centre for a 'Timeline Events' organised event. The staring subjects of the event were GWR 2900 "Saint" Class No. 2999 'Lady of Legend' and GWR 0-4-0 'Trojan'. Both loco's were in steam and were positioned at various locations around the engine shed and alongside other resident locomotives. Centre staff and re-enactors were also present to bring the scenes to life and create scenes reminiscent of the heydays of steam, and an operational GWR engine shed.

With the Christmas break, I finally got round to editing my video from a 2 week holiday near the North Yorkshire Moors Railway in the summer. It was great to see the locomotives working hard in such beautiful scenery.
    The video features 'Black 5' No.5428 'Eric Tracey', 4MT tank No.80136, SR S15 No.825, BR 9F No.92134, BR 4MT No.76079, J27 No.65894. So I think that's almost all the operarational steam fleet!!
Plus, from the diesel fleet, class 37 37264, and, briefly, D7628 “Sybilla”.

Hope you enjoy the video - comments and feedback always most welcome!
