I visited when I went to the (brilliant) Fawley Hill steam engine rallies a few years back.

It’s well worth a visit, especially when the trains are running around the estate.

I think I’ve got to the bottom of this!

I think both Andy and I were correct with our earlier posts.

Monday 4th October 2021. ‘Yesterday’ channel, 8pm to 9pm. “The Architecture the Railways Built’. Season 3. Episode 4.

Programme synopsis: Tim heads underground at the magnificent Bramhope Tunnel and looks at architectural salvage on a grand scale at Fawley Hill. In Germany Tim finds out how Dresden Station finally rose from the ashes after WW2.

It can be very confusing when different channels show the same programme, one a new episode and the other a repeat, but I think that’s nailed it!

'The Architecture the Railways Built' is a original TV series for Yesterday and is nothing to do with Channel 5.

Very good series they have been, too. It helps that Tim Dunn actually knows what he is talking about (normally a black-listing offence on TV!).
