15/05/2021 - LNER 4-6-2 A3 60103 "Flying Scotsman" on a test run around the Carnforth - Hellifield - Blackburn - Carnforth circuit here caught approaching Langho with support coach on 5M50.

 

As the support coach was moved up to Carnforth from ELR behind 45407 (IIRC) one can only assume that either WCR or NRM now have use of it.

After waiting for 90 minutes at Hartford Junction, 60103 Flying Scotsman resumes its journey south, passing through Hartford station on time.

 

Went down to Doncaster today to get some photos of the 2 LSL class 47’s working the e.c.s. from Crewe of tomorrows tour


Locos used were 47806 & 47593


47805 (D1935) Roger Hosking M.A. with the e.c.s. for a rail tour on the 19th arriving from Crewe LSL Doncaster 18th May 2021
