Northern Belle: 19/9, 3/10 & 17/10/20 + 16 & 17/12/20

I think RTT just hasn't caught up to the change yet.

 

As you say, the Northern Belle website says 'timings confirmed' so either the north bound on RTT is not relevant and the paths are yet to appear or Northern Belle are going to have to tell their passengers to get up earlier than expected.

 

Why tell the punters to get up earlier if it’s leaving Preston later than it would’ve done Lancaster

Thats good - north over Shap and back via Ais Gill - makes the photography a bit easier.

Has Lizzie left Carnforth yet as it hasn't reported on RTT?

 

Looks from RTT as if it's missed its slot and will have to run an hour late behind the next three trains. Not good for the lads at Shap Wells in this weather.

Wonder what the ZZ light engine from Steamtown to Stirling is.

Edit--spoke too soon, they have let it out 32 late. But must be looped at Oxenholme or Grayrigg.

Edit--wrong again, on she goes 30L, about 12 mins on the late running Glasgow.

You were right that it was a bit damp at Shap Wells, - well plenty of atmosphere

 

6201 at Shap Wells and Kirkby Stephen in awful weather .
