I suppose it’s down to choice but my shot was sort of decided with Nigel being to my left hence not trying to replicate the same shot.

It would appear the Waverley for the 25th August has been cancelled. Gone from the RTC web site.

theres something else i noticed about this years waverley tours compared to last years theres only been 4 out of 5 so far that are running for 2019 compared to 2018 there were 7 waverley tours, Is that due to service trains frequency increasing this year between york and leeds T.P.E. maybe?

I think there were 6 rather than 7 last year:
    https://settlecarlislesteam.co.uk/y...eadboard=All&diesel=All&load=All&promoter=All
Unless I have a date missing?

There were 8 in 2017 though. A3 effect that year I suspect the reason there were so many.

As far as ive seen on railtour info 2019 and been told by R.T.C. it should be diesel free maybe the bahamas loco society will let 45596 go unassisted, 45699 did on previous waverley on august 11th.

It's not up to BLS to make the decision whether or not to have a diesel on the back.

Looks like a late departure from York. ECS just now arrived into P11.
