    Neil, I think the date in the first picture of 46243 is incorrect as the yellow stripes were not applied until 1964. So sad to see 6243 being broken up, I always considered it one of 'my engines' being Edge Hill allocated at the time I would visit every day after school and was also the last 'semi' I saw in steam until preservation era when it was briefly returned to steam and I saw it at Chester.
