I have to say (and I'll admit to being biased) but when the SVR does something it does it very well indeed! That is fantastic, looks like the trailer for a film.

I am seeking information on a Rapier H7 Crane, I think that the SVR had one in 2010, could anyone enlighten me to if the Crane is still at the SVR and any contact for information would be appreciated.

The SVR Wiki has information on many things including rail mounted stock/plant and disposals https://www.svrwiki.com/Main_Page.

    Was it rail mounted?

This was a road crane which Rapier made from 1970’s most commonly used as yard cranes but the H7 had a road speed of 30mph max. It was not rail mounted.

A quick search suggests the only Rapier machines mentioned on SVRWiki are the two turntables.

I don`t know if this announcement asking for your help has been presented in this thread before? No matter how, it`s a very important one for this railway.

I really like the option to donate 50 £ and add your name to a donation wall!:)

The Middleton Railway also raised money for its loco shed by selling engraved bricks. We were invited to the formal opening on the 21st July and it was good to see my late Father's name in the wall.

The new café building at Bridgnorth looks to be coming along very nicely - here's a quick snap from the footbridge from last Saturday afternoon.

That looks really nice. One thing is puzzling me though - those gutters don't look like they'd catch the rainwater coming off the slates?

I think it's probably a perspective thing, the front of the gutter is probably higher relative to the slates than it looks.
(I say this because I can't believe they'd make such a basic error!)

If you look at the end of the building, the gap is more noticeable.
