I hear on the grapevine that Tornado is doing a test run today (Thu 6th), in the normal BBP Surrey Hills path. I think it's a loaded test.

Nobody appears to have mentioned that 46233 duchess of Sunderland is on its way to carnforth today.
Just past Milton Keynes around 12.30, with its pob.

Just gone through Stafford

 

The 'Duchess' has apparently manoeuvred into the Heritage Centre at Crewe according to Facebook gen.

 

Now reports cancelled at operators request. Sitting looking healthy enough on Railcam within the Heritage Centre.

 

6024KEI, its up on real time trains still as going to carnforth, can't see any mention on rtt yet that its been cancelled?

 

Open Train times has it cancelled onwards from Crewe as does the feed on railcams - guess RTT might be lagging a bit. At the moment its sitting at the platform near the Chester lines, steam coming from the safety valve and with what I assume is the support crew having a chat alongside the support carriage. No sense of urgency.

 

Ah right, thank you for explaining.

 

Railcams suggests cancelled at 15:01 - would still have been enroute to Crewe so possibly diverted straight into Heritage Centre.
