    I had a great trip from Totnes at the Whit Bank Holiday last year. Is it true that the Skipper has to blow a whistle & wave a green flag to get some of the railwaymen who also work the KC to get the engine moving?

    Not heard of that - but the skipper does indulge in whistling sessions with the steam locos when they're in sight. We have a second whistle to fit that's been on the 'to do' list for some time in order to enhance our whistling performance!
