4965, 5043, 6201, should all do test runs on Shakespeare route or the East Mids circuit in the coming months I'd say. Not sure what's going on with the Princess, as I'd of expected it back by now !

8F left Carnforth for York at 9.20am, Scots Guardsman and Galatea were in the yard being prepared for this mornings test run to Hellifield.

Did both go out on it?

Edit: Just seen some footage of it. Any clue what day one of the northern locos will move south for the Paddington Shrewsbury jaunt?

Looked across at 10.30. Galatea in steam outside shed but still facing north, no sign of any movement.

Hi there. In regards to what did not move from Tyseley the other day: I'm sure that there was an ECS (5xxx) movement (shown in RTT, but subsequently disappeared) from Carnforth to Tyseley arriving earlier in the day. If you were to look at the above planned movement in OpenTrainTimes (http://www.opentraintimes.com/schedule/P92114/2016-05-31) there was an apparent watering of something at Rugby.

On the subject of planned movements that were on RTT and then vanishing (and may have been connected to the above), there was a movement from Southall WRC to Didcott and back; unfortunately l cannot remember the date.

I know this does not necessarily provide any other details but I think there seemed to be something planned which did not happen.

P.S. look what is now on RTT for next Monday: http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/U54524/2016/06/06/advanced.

So that kind of throws up in the air the notion that the movement ID is a subtle code. 5V44 is clearly not 5V99.

Fred's post only suggested this applied to light engine moves with a Z code. Presumably the fact that there is a support coach means this rather useful rule does not apply.

Presumably already taken? Like on 28th May - http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/P18023/2016/05/28/advanced

Guess there are more codes for LE paths available than ECS / freight ones???
