I got report that Flying Scotsman hasnt come off shed, (Failed) Diesel now York - Kings X, 47580.

One way of solving the trespass issue I suppose.

 

Lets hope it's nothing serious or Saturdays trip will be affected.

That's the last time you get 60103 in the North East, you have her for a few days and she comes back broken....

 

No it went on about 1 o'clock so still gave 3.5 hours notice

If it is an injector failure as reported then no amount of money spent on an overhaul can protect against that. The smallest bit of dirt can stop them from working, ask any fireman who's had it happen to them.

 

You can spend any amount of money you like, it doesn't make any bit of machinery invulnerable, injector failure is not uncommon and could be caused by foreign matter blocking the cones. Just another bit of bad luck.
