    Any more news on this? Will the P&R be in operation? Bit of pain if it is as my wife will just want to sit in the car and read so would prefer to be near Woody Bay.

    If you didn't go to this the you missed a treat. Wonderful friendly railway in glorious weather. Well worth the two nights we spent in a lovely comfortable family run hotel in Lynton.

    It is an enjoyable ride.......yet at £12 from somewhere to nowhere and back still makes your eyes water.

    And yes I also paid extra for the primal age of an observation comp!

    Yes but us old fogies only paid £10 and for that we could travel all day plus brake van rides. Not bad value for three new engines in my view
