    Absolutely, and as far as main line steam is concerned there seems to be no let-up in the need for high-end engineering work to meet the requirements of an ever demanding rail network including that crucial reliability element. So best wishes in all of that - the passengers need it!

    How true, Ian, please crack on with 35009, we need her and 35027 back on the network to ensure that the motive power is going to be up to the task and dont end up sitting down, or being pushed by a box

    Only Jubilees and B1's need pushing around.....our two dragged tomorrows consist and a type four diesel dead in tow from Carnforth to Blackburn today..;).....leaf fall an all!...good job all the sanders are filled and operational....we needed them!

    Very good luck to you Ian with what appears to be an exciting future for you. You've come a long way from when I worked with you as a lad at the ELR way back in the early 80's :) It's always nice to see people enjoy success through hard work and dedication and you've certainly put the hours in. Don't suppose you fancy putting in an extra siding to house a 504 ;)
