Dawlish in the 1950's

Now available on train simulator 2016 (Riveira Line in the 50'), complete with Kings, Castles, Modified Halls, Granges & 57XX's as well as plenty of ex GW stock before you start adding loco's and stock from other packs.

Think I might well disappear until next year creating a summer saturday scenario with all the traffic that brought.

 

I have this very good route except the incorrect track layout at Exeter St Davids, have thought about making some scenarios like this myself, my problem is i just do not have enough information to make it accurate. If anyone can point me in the direction of accurate train times, locomotive movements etc, i would love to make a scenario for this route i have made scenarios in the past so i am sure i could pull it off.

 

It does seem dangerously addictive as the whole simulator thing gets more realistic over time and greater graphics/sounds, creating a fun scenario with tons of other AI trains clogging the route has stolen so many hours of my life the last few months.

Just wish there were a few more steam age routes, 70% of those available are modern image and some of the older ones like Bath - Templecombe and Woodhead look a bit dated now, though Falmouth and the Port Road still stand up well.
