I'm keen to obtain a copy of an article published in the November 1901 edition of Railway Magazine 'The Colne Valley and Halstead Railway' author S Killick Morley (my grandfather). Can anyone guide me as to where to begin?

If you live near Leeds, the University library (I think it was called the Brotherton) had a full set of Railway Magazine that you could read, and indeed photocopy. That was, however, about 45 years ago, when I was there, and it may not be possible for a non-student to get into the building. And even libraries have the occasional de-clutter!

The "Search Engine" at the National Railway Museum, York, has a complete run of The Railway Magazine from issue 1. So a request to them for a copy may be your best bet, at some expense.

Thanks John. I live in Sydney and will try the NRM option.
