Not having a great deal of luck with this series of trains are they? The first one diesel hauled due to fire risk and two out of the remaining five now apparently cancelled.

From what I see, in many locations, it's the trees that have been allowed to grow too close to the track that are more of a problem with signal sighting issues, something that Network Rail are not very good at dealing with.

I think part of the problem with all the dead vegetation at the trackside is that it got an early start with all the fine weather in early spring, and there was much more than normal when the weedkiller trains were run and therefore much more...

Timings for the train have changed too. it now looks like steam on at Crewe and water at Oxenholme rather than Grayrigg. It also looks like steam all the way back to Crewe in the evening.
