Was there on Sunday to get the new puppy accustomed to big noisy steamy things (it's that or staying at home fortunatly it was so impressed it slept through the whole experience).

I noticed that despite internet rumours etc., that the no. 2 Baldwin now appears now to be in one piece and looking like a complete loco again, anyone know if when it's likely to run? It strikes me as a loco I'd like to see in action, everytime I've been in the past it's been the Jung.

Also notice that there's a large bogie wagon full of coal, oil prices forcing a rethink on fueling perhaps?

Any further news on the extension to Torpantau? Do I remember correctly that one of the pe-requisites was to increase the number of working locomotives so as to be able to run a two train service?
