    The steam and pottery museum is due to close and a petition has been created to try and save it. The petitions effect may be nothing but worth a try. I am visiting this Sunday to photograph it during its possible last ever steaming event.

    MOSI has had its entire £4m Central Government grant cancelled as it is regarded as a local museum to be funded locally - Well done Call Me Dave and Georgieboy!

    You can add the destruction of the Railway Heritage Committee, The MLA and the PRISM grants to that list, TBFrank!

    A lot of local museums, heritage / cultural and similar societies are going to be struggling(sic) to survive in the next few years, even the ones able to take advantage of "gift aid" and other charitable funding sources.

    Very worrying!
