    No I do not currently volunteer
    Stats should really be gathered from what people have put in their profile, but as many don't put much then that is a non starter. On a survey similarly many will just not be bothered, so a true cross section will always be difficult to establish.

    yes - although the polling companies have systems of checks and balances to make their surveys more representative
