I now think it'll be a waste of time for you to try and contact the TVR. I gather Mr Sanderson never replies, and anyway he's still maintaining the railway will be back and they'll therefore need two steam locos as they only have one partially operative diesel....

Just seen your comments about Mountaineer on the FR, I don't think you would get her, but I do know that another railway was interested in her on a long term loan, but we don't have anywhere to work on her, it would nice to see her working with LYN................dam I shouldn't have said that....lol

It is nothing offical so I would not get your hopes up to soon but lets see what happen in September with LYD.

Like you I have a passion of the L&BR and it is upsetting to see this in-fighting, but you know there is more to this story than what I can tell you right now, so we should try and meet up at Woody Bay in September.
