Last run today of the the big German Pacific. Previously owned by Historischer Eisenbahn Frankfurt, she was sold after the group were unable to fund boiler repairs a few years ago. The private owner allowed the group to continue using the loco, but now wants it in his collection. Seems it won't be visible to the public either. At least if 60009 does get permanently withdrawn, she'll still be accessible.

Yes regular good performer on Plan Damps in the 1990s. Another but short run, was on the The Hafenbahn which is along the river bank in Frankfurt Main ,Eiserner Stag is the station. The route along the river ,is in a park with no fences lineside . Also a small amount of street running ,with no extra precautions taken ,is also done down Speichstrasser .Historic Eisenbahn is organising several runs on 03/11/2019 with 2-10-0 52 4867 along the Hafenbahn. Also in Frankfurt that weekend is a night photo session at the Narrow Gauge Museum. Both well worth going for.
