Sunday saw a large bus rally in Salisbury, in celebration of the Wilts and Dorset 100th anniversary. Nearly 70 different buses were present, ranging in construction from pre-war to the most modern London buses.

There were a variety of routes in operation, ranging from quick 10 minute trips round town to excursions of about an hour to nearby villages and market towns. With departures from Blue Boar Row and New Canal roughly every five minutes throughout the day, there was far more to do than we could fit in, so we just took a few rides, mostly on an open-top double decker, in deference to the wishes of the children!
