Yes I am an active volunteer
I'm currently enjoying the 'Railroad Alaska' programme on Discovery Turbo channel (probably not its first airing I'm sure!)
Although the programme makers do seems to enjoy a touch of the jeopardy type situations seemingly beloved of such TV types, the programme itself is good in my opinion as not only does it show train operations, but also covers track maintenance and very importantly, the people who rely on the line for their everyday needs.
Nice to see people with such a team spirit and can-do attitude.
The spectacular scenery is worth watching too :)
