    Recently purchased NS 663 ex NRM Shildon arrived at Ribble Steam Railway on 18th May, the loco is in full working order, but air brake only. After Fitness to Run & Staff familiarisation, the Loco will join the Ribble Rail fleet of Diesel locos Commercially employed on Rail tanker movement on the Preston Dock Railway.

    It is anticipated that the loco will be fitted with a vacuum braking system to allow use on passenger trains if & when required.
